(THANKSGIVING WEEKEND)

CHILDRENS CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

December 17^th will be the Children’s Christmas Program during Worship (at 10:30)!

It will include the children sharing the Christmas Story with songs and readings.

Children in Pre-School – 2nd Grade will learn a few songs for the service, they will practice these songs during Sunday School starting this week! (all Preschool-2nd Grade kids will gather in the Preschool room at 10am each Sunday morning to practice these songs). If you have a child in Preschool-2nd Grade that would like to join the Christmas Program, please talk to Ruth Wala, 402-580-1764, or plan to join us at 10am for practice!

Children in Grades 3-12 are invited to take part in the readings for the program. (Some readings are longer than others, so we can find just the right fit!). This group will practice their lines from 10:15-10:30 on Sunday mornings with Ruth Wala.

SUNDAY SCHOOL ROOM CHANGES

Sunday School rooms have shifted a bit. Dan Walla’s Class is now in Room 1, and the 3rd-6th grade Sunday School Class is in Room #2. This allows us to better serve our young families with a “Wiggle Room” in Room #4 that they can use during Sunday School Hour when needed!

NEW OPTIONS FOR PARENTS!

In order to better serve our families, we have improved two spaces for children on Sunday mornings.

LIVE STREAM in our Nursery/Preschool room available during church services for anyone with the wiggles (young and old!). This space has plenty of toys to keep little ones occupied (parents should plan to be in the room with their children.)

Coming Soon: A Wiggle Room in Room #4 (the room just to the left out the Sanctuary door) is being equipped with a TV to stream the service along with chairs, and a few toys. This is a great space for feeding babies or corralling toddlers! This space is also available during Sunday School for those who are not quite ready for the Preschool classroom. Parents should plan to supervise their children in this space.

And, as always, we welcome the squirms, noises, and energy that come with children. God put the wiggle in children, don’t feel like you have to suppress it here! Children are a gift, and we’d love to support you in the faith formation of your family!

There are 3 copies in notebooks on the high-top tables.

Please keep the notebooks within the church building.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING

Please join us as we make preparations for Christmas. This is a buys time of the year, but don’t lose focus! Jesus is coming!

ADVENT SERVICES:

Please join us Wednesdays, December 6, 13, and 20 for an Advent Service. Dinner is served at 5:45, and services start at 6:30.

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM:

CHRISTMAS DECORATING AND CHURCH CLEAN-UP: December 2 at 9am, join us at the church for a “changing of the panels”, cleaning, putting up the tree, hanging some lights, and decorating for Christmas! Bring the whole family, there’s something for everyone!
