Word of Life Lutheran Church

Pastors Edwards’ last service as Word of Life Lead Pastor on Sunday, February 19, will

be a service with a Baptism for Aspen Marie Fischer. PLEASE WEAR WHITE. There will

be a short break after which will be a Chaplin Installation Service followed by a luncheon.

We ask that if you are staying for the luncheon to please RSVP to RO, Philip Dani or Zeb Barta. We will want an estimate to make sure we order enough food. Also, if you could and would provide a favorite homemade dessert, that would be greatly appreciated.

We intend to take a picture immediately after the 10:30 service with Pastor Edwards in the middle of us standing as a group in the sanctuary like we have done in the past so again, PLEASE WEAR WHITE for the Baptism.

Be sure to express your appreciation and love for Pastor Edwards before he departs to the next chapter in his story.

ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE, FEBRUARY 22

Join us for our Ash Wednesday service, Wednesday, February 22. A meal will be served from 5:45 – 6:30 pm prior to the service from 6:30 – 7:15. There will be a free-will offering for the meal.

FOOD, FELLOWSHIP, AND FUN!

A game night and potluck fellowship is planned for Friday, March 3rd! Clear your calendars and keep an eye out for more information.

ORPHAN TRAIN TRAIN IN NEED OF DONATIONS

The Orphan Grain Train is a nonprofit Christian network that shares resources with needy people in America and around the world. They are currently in need of donations of clothing, medical supplies, blankets, and hygiene items.
