The Wieting Family (one of our church families) has been affected by Celiac Disease. On October 1, Join “Not a Fad” in supporting the Wieting Family and Beyond Celiac to raise awareness about Celiac Disease.

FISHING OUTREACH AT BOWLING LAKE

CALL COMMITTEE UPDATE
PASTOR CALL NOMINATIONS
The process of calling a pastor to Word of Life is moving forward, and we are now seeking nominations of pastors to be considered for a call. If you would like to recommend a pastor for consideration by the Call Committee, complete the Pastor Call Nomination Form and submit it to a member of the Call Committee by Sunday, October 1.
(Nomination Forms are also available in the office)

LADIES NIGHT at the FIRE PIT
Calling all Ladies at Word of Life and their girlfriends!

Bring a chair, blanket, and warm drink!

TRUNK or TREAT 2023
SHINING the LIGHT of JESUS in the DARKNESS
It’s time to start planning your trunk for this year’s Trunk or Treat!
Thursday, October 26, 5:30-7pm
We will tell the “Story of Everything” starting with Creation through the Resurrection and Beyond! We have lots of ideas, and even some materials from years past that make it easy to put your trunk together!

Please pray for the leaders and members of Emmanuel Lutheran, Kahului, Maui. They are God’s hands and feet to the people of Maui. They are Christ’s ambassadors and bear the presence of the Savior. Pray for their strength and care as they walk beside many in great need, assisting them, and pointing them towards the Hope found only in Jesus!
