“Follow Me”
Being transformed means following doesn’t it? But why would anybody want to follow anybody? Isn’t it more enticing, enlightening to find your own way, your own thing? So what possibly can give you reason to become a follower, a disciple, a partner?
Jesus came with a message of life and signaled that He was connected to God. The question of the people gathered in Galilee was, “How connected to God are you?” Jesus answered, “I am the bread of life,” which turned some away. Others became followers, disciples of Christ because they saw as Peter stated, “Lord … You have the words of eternal life.”
So how does this business of being transformed by the Word work? What does it mean to be a disciple, a follower of Christ?
Question of thee week: In what part of Israel did Jesus feed the 5000? – Hint, the name is also the name of a sea and most of the disciples came from this area.
Answer: Jesus fed the Jews in Galilee, next to the Sea of Galilee.

Update on our LifeCenter
The Planning Team is meeting on a regular basis with Rick Geiler, our architect. Our Planning Team last met with Geiler and finalized the bid plans, which now will be distributed to be returned by late February. Last week, a meeting with Cattle Bank in Seward was held to discuss final loan details. Construction will start as weather permits in March or April. Projected completion of the LifeCenter is Thanksgiving 2014.
A test well was drilled on our property and an adequate supply of excellent, quality water was found.
We pray and trust that God will lead us as we go, serving Him. Our LifeCenter for Christ and Community Campaign Co-Leaders are R.O. Ouellette and Jason and Lynette Windhorst, Mike McHargue and Tom Hoegemeyer. Contact me, Pastor Larry at 402-641-3692 or larkitoetting@yahoo.org for information on our prayer team and the vision we have in serving Him.
