Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
In one scene in “The Battle of the Five Armies,” the Hobbit Bilbo tells the Wizard Gandalf how lucky he (Bilbo) has been. Gandalf replied, “You don’t really suppose do you, that all your adventures and escapes were managed by mere luck?” As the movie unfolds we see there is providence, a right and wrong and the main battle is not between armies but rather overcoming evil and greed.
Pride, selfishness and greed drives out peace, honesty, truth, love and contentment. The quest for riches drives the armies to war at Lonely Mountain. How can greed be overcome? In this Middle- Earth world is there no one that show them the truth? How is greed overcome in our lives?
