Gideon- “Are You sure Lord?”
Who was Gideon? So significant is the mark this very ordinary man made in his time that he is listed in Hebrews 11 alongside the movers & shakers of the Old Testament. The author of Hebrews writes, “For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets—who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. Hebrews 11:32-34
Sunday, guided by our guest pastor Barry Kolb, we track Gideon’s story working our way through Judges 6-7, where we find six life lessons.
