QUARTERLY CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

Word of Life meets quarterly as a congregation to gather together for the good of the congregation. At these meetings, we discuss our ministries, our finances, and celebrate joys together, think of it as a family meeting. Our next quarterly meeting will be on April 27, immediately following the service.

We will have a potluck meal together, so please plan to bring a dish to share!

Pastor Kuhlman will be visiting on April 27th, so we will use our meeting to allow time for him to get to know us and for us to get to know him. Please continue to keep him in your prayers as well as the future of our congregation.

ANNUAL VOTER’S MEETING

Please plan to join us on May 4, after the service for our annual voter’s meeting. We will be electing new delegates to our Lay Leadership Board and Elders. Please plan to stay after church for this important meeting.

PASTORAL CALL EXTENDED

On Sunday, March 16, Word of Life congregation voted to extend a Call to Pastor Nathan Kuhlman who currently serves in ministry as pastor at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rolla, Missouri. Please keep Pastor Kuhlman in your prayers as he deliberates this call. Please also pray for his current congregation as they support him and encourage him to seek God’s will.

Please see Pastor Kuhlman’s letter of receipt of our Call documents.

OPTIONS FOR PARENTS

LIVE STREAM in our Nursery/Preschool room available during church services for anyone with the wiggles (young and old!). This space has plenty of toys to keep little ones occupied (parents should plan to be in the room with their children.)

Wiggle Room in Room #4 (the room just to the left out the Sanctuary door) is equipped with a TV to stream the service along with chairs, and a few toys. This is a great space for feeding babies or corralling toddlers! This space is also available during Sunday School for those who are not quite ready for the Preschool classroom. Parents should plan to supervise their children in this space.

And, as always, we welcome the squirms, noises, and energy that come with children. God put the wiggle in children, don’t feel like you have to suppress it here!

Children are a gift, and we’d love to support you in the faith formation of your family!
