PASTORAL CALL EXTENDED

On Sunday, March 16, Word of Life congregation voted to extend a Call to Pastor Nathan Kuhlman who currently serves in ministry as pastor at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rolla, Missouri. Please keep Pastor Kuhlman in your prayers as he deliberates this call. Please also pray for his current congregation as they support him and encourage him to seek God’s will.

 BROWNIES & BUNCO

Want to participate in our March Madness Boxed Brownie Bake-off & Bunco? We’d love to have you join us March 23, 2-4pm!

If you’re committed, sign-up outside the office so we know how many to plan for, but if you’re not sure yet, no worries, no need to sign-up!

If you’d like to help out, consider baking a box of brownies (follow the directions on the box… we know you can make them fancier, but we want to test them as they are!). If you’ve got a set of dice, bring those, too!

It’s going to be a fun, delicious, and maybe a little competitive!

LENTEN SERVICES & MEALS

Lent is a time of preparation and reflection as we anticipate the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord. We use this time for reflection upon our own sinfulness.

March 26: Pasta by Logos Life Group

April 2: The Jurchen Family

April 9: Soups & Cinnamon Rolls by The Way

Let’s use this time to come together as a community and deepen our faith. Thank you for your support and participation.

EASTER LILY ADOPTION

It’s that time again to think about adopting Easter lilies!

Once again, we will be purchasing Easter lilies to beautify our sanctuary for Easter. Lily adoptions are $15 apiece, and will be available after service on Easter to take home with you! Yellow Adoption forms will be available by the bulletins. Please plan to adopt your lilies no later than April 6.

You can adopt in the name of someone special, and those names will be mentioned in the Easter bulletin.

OPTIONS FOR PARENTS

LIVE STREAM in our Nursery/Preschool room available during church services for anyone with the wiggles (young and old!). This space has plenty of toys to keep little ones occupied (parents should plan to be in the room with their children.)

Wiggle Room in Room #4 (the room just to the left out the Sanctuary door) is equipped with a TV to stream the service along with chairs, and a few toys. This is a great space for feeding babies or corralling toddlers! This space is also available during Sunday School for those who are not quite ready for the Preschool classroom. Parents should plan to supervise their children in this space.

And, as always, we welcome the squirms, noises, and energy that come with children. God put the wiggle in children, don’t feel like you have to suppress it here!

Children are a gift, and we’d love to support you in the faith formation of your family!
