Be comfortable
There’s no dress code. What you wear is not nearly important as who you are.
Have a seat, any seat
Say hello to some folks and sit yourself down. Feel free to bring your coffee in, grab a worship guide, and view the announcements for Word of Life events. Please sit wherever you feel comfortable and don’t worry about anyone making you stand up and say your name.
Worship
It’s easy to follow the service. We’ll have the words up on the screen for you.
Offering
You are our guest. As a visitor, you are not expected to bring an offering.
Preach it
Preaching is to the point and done in a way that relates God’s Word — the Word of Life (aha!) — with everyday living.
Communion
Communion is a time for us to come in union to receive Jesus’ body and blood. We encourage those who are unsure of their beliefs or who don’t yet agree with our beliefs to use the time of communion to reflect, pray, and sing. There are always many who don’t receive communion for this reason, so you won’t be alone. And we encourage those who are in agreement with us in our beliefs to receive the body and blood of Jesus, given and shed for our forgiveness.
Closing
Our Sunday worship wraps up by 11:45 a.m. on Sundays, usually a little earlier. We pray the impact is everlasting though.
Until next Sunday
See what’s on tap during the week by looking at the newsy that comes with your worship guide.
